Unlike the rest of the factions, the region of Noxferrum is scarce in terms of livestock, much less on greeneries to harvest from. This problem eventually leads them to invent a lot of whacky things that often make them questionable in the public eye. One of these inventions is Crandy, an attempt for Tenebris to raise a livestock on their own. Due to its nature that wouldn’t survive wilderness, there is a dedicated area somewhere in the Wizarding Tower that nurtures its growth.
Crandy is only as big as a child’s palm, and thankfully they are abundant. Being experimental monsters, many Crandies have come and gone through experiments to perfect them. Many claim it has a crunchy texture and tastes both sweet and savory, which can be further improved by letting it live longer. However, being a sentient being as it is, Crandy also needs food to survive—which goes against what Tenebrisians initially wanted. A product of irony and lack of foresight, maybe someday there is going to be a more permanent solution other than Crandy for Tenebris.
